Our Story

Bombers BBQ was opened on May 7th, 2013 by founder Chris Cole who grew up in the Region.  BBQ and smoked meats have always been a passion. David, his father grew up in North Carolina, declared the "Pig pickin' capital of the world" in 1972, and on visits to see family they would often enjoy a great plate of bbq. 

Who We Are

When deciding to open a restaurant it was important to offer something new to the Region that residents could not get anywhere else. Few bbq restaurants outside of the south truly take the time to cook with real hardwood, low and slow, and to stand by the never serve day old BBQ principle. This would be a core principle at the conception of Bombers BBQ and to this day is still continued. 

Bombers BBQ only uses real hardwood, no pellets, chips, or liquid smoke. We cook low and slow with some of our meats cooking for up to 16 hours. We never inject, only season, and we let the meat do the talking. Everything we serve is cooked fresh the day of and we never serve day old bbq. We often sell out of items near the end of each day's service, but rest assured will have those items back on the menu the very next day. We have built a great team over the years that takes care and pride in what we do. We look forward to serving you!
